On offer is a fine quality Art Deco solid silver cigarette case, assayed in
Birmingham 1933 by W J Myatt & Co. The front and rear have engine turned
engraving, with the front also having an attractive angular Art Deco design. It
opens via the catch to the side to reveal the gilded interior and hallmarks.
The hinge and the catch work well and it is made from a good gauge silver,
weighing 122g. Some surface marks from age and use, otherwise in good antique
condition. Prices are negotiable to a point and normally postage can be
combined for multiple purchases.
